A the public sphere has been under heavy dispute lately, with the Gezi movement as one of its spin offs, the Institute of Creative Minds Istanbul and the Young Innovators joined forces at Mediamatic to answer the question: How do we create a new kind of self-governing society? During the opening of ‘A Day in the Park’ students, journalists, artist, activists, and disciplinary specialists from Istanbul and the Netherlands shared new visions, ideas and dreams on an alternative society in Istanbul, focusing on topics such as sustainable development and sharing economy.
